We have had confirmation from Townsville Sailing Club for the pricing of hiring a club boat. This is for either Sabot Week or Open Nationals.
The club is offering the boats for the hire cost of $50 each for the duration of the event, there is a condition that will have to be signed for where any damage will need to be reimbursed. These could move quick so I would suggest making contact ASAP.

Again as a Committee we can’t stress enough how much growth you will see in your child’s sailing by entering into Sabot Week Nationals. It is a unique opportunity this year where our sailors can enter into Sabot Week in Townsville and then 5 months later enter into Open Nationals (if they choose) at Teralba.
Training This Weekend – 22nd & 23rd May
Woodgate
For any sailors who are considering competing at Nationals we are providing a free weekend of training this weekend with coach Hayden Barney. Hayden is a prior sabot sailor and has coached our team at Sandringham Nationals as well as coaching many other fleets at RQYS.
Please let us know if you are attending via email or text , details are Woodgate Qld at the Boat ramp area, cheap camping and motel across the road or choose your own accommodation option.=
Price: Free
Saturday: from 10am (join in when you can)
Sunday: finished by around 2pm.
Wivenhoe Winter Marathon – 5th / 6th June
A great fun weekend camping and sailing. Juniors sail on their own course closer to the campground giving them more time to sail or have fun on shore. Sunday is double points to keep things interesting.
Cost is $25 with entries fees going back into prizes
