Bay Titles and AGM Postponed
Unfortunately with the ongoing restrictions we are not able to hold our Bay Titles on the scheduled date of August 21st and 22nd. To ensure maximum participation for our AGM we have also made the decision to postpone our AGM.
Further details will be provided once available.
I’m sure everyone is itching to get back on the water and enjoy some responsible socialisation, sailing and friendly competition and the great news is the following weekend there is a great weekend of sailing.
Saturday 28th August – Brisbane Sailing Squadron (Bulimba)
Lord Mayors Cup
This used to be a regular fixture on the BSS calendar but has not been sail since the 1980’s. It is open to all off the beach dinghy’s, multihulls and trailer sailors with the overall winner determined on a yardstick system.
This is part of the 100 year celebrations of the club and it would be great to see Sabot’s strongly represented given the strong rich history of Sabots at BSS.
Sunday 29th August
Winter Series Final Race at DPSS
There has been some great racing so far at DPSS with our SQSA sailors representing us in both the 1 up and 2up fleet.
Our Qld Titles are proceeding as per schedule in beautiful Yeppoon with training scheduled for the 3 days prior. Make sure you get your entries in and don’t forget you need to be a member of SQSA to enter.
Don’t forget to join SQSA for this season – previous season was extended to July 2021 meaning unless you joined for 2021/22 you are not a current member.
